Happened upon this gem of a hat store on Saturday afternoon during a girls' weekend in New York. Suzanne welcomed us so warmly and allowed us to just revel in the luxurious, beauuuuuuutiful, colourful, unique and out of this world hats!!! I was in heaven, and while not looking to purchase a hat at that moment, since I am such a hat fan and it was written all over my face, Suzanne took her time to engage me in conversation about hats, allowed me to try on a variety of her fantabulous collection and creations, even picking some out for me to try on, and educated me on the types of hats she would recommend for my 24" crown (she took it upon herself to measure me), stature, etc. The experience was really intriguing, and I was totally blown away by her humility and generousity. I could have spent the whole afternoon in the store, but, alas, I had to allow myself to be dragged out!!!! Suzanne's was quite the highlight of my weekend, and I now know that I can find my kind of hat in the US and not have to lug one from London or Jo'burg every time I need that special chapeau! Thank you so much, Suzanne, and we shall be back!!!
The best women hat shop in the country. Period. Every hat is awsome, made on premise and with the best materials. Suzanne is a true artist , always in the store to help and her staff is also very helpful and knowledgable. It is a pleasure to visit this one of a kind boutique.

I go to the Kentucky Derby every year and I always need a new hat or two. Having just moved to New York about a year year and a half ago, this was my first time finding a hat in the city. After searching on Google I found Suzanne's and realized that they make hats for most of the women at the Conservancy Luncheon so I thought I would check it out. She also has a great article written about her in the NY Times. I'm so glad I went! They were so helpful and knowledgeable. I found two hats for Derby weekend and they are both fantastic. It is pricey but about par for a really high-quality creation. My hats this year were around the same price as my Philip Treacy fascinator from last year. I would highly recommend this shop to anyone needing a hat!
Suzanne and her lovely assistant provide phenomenal service with care. I had my wedding veil made there and it was designed exactly how I envisioned it. I highly recommend this business!

The Best Hat Shop in the World. If you need a hat or a wedding veil you must go to Suzanne. She has impeccable taste, will advise you and create the most beautiful piece just for you. She made my veil 10 years ago and I just bought a great straw hat for my Christmas vacation in the Bahamas. Everything is hand made and the quality unsurpassed. You must see the shop to believe it. Very nice lady too.

I heard from my daughter-in-law Lindsay that she contacted you regarding replacing her missing hat. I bought the most amazing hat from your shop last Christmas while I was holidaying with my family. I am pleased to inform that it has won two fashions on the field contests to date. One of my prizes included a trip to New Zealand :) Everyone admires the hat and photographers go crazy for it

Stopped into the shop today. The new hats are yummy. Wore the pink for New Years Eve. Many women came over to inspect it and ask where I got it. Several men offered to remove it. And Eduardo strutted around like head of the place with the prize. See you soon for spring.
